CAMERON NUFLO Liquid Turbine Meters

NUFLO turbine flow meters display the flow rate and evaluate the full flow rate of a liquid line. The rotor moves at a speed that is equivalent to the flow rate when liquid passes through the meter and through the rotor. The magnetic pickup senses the rotor propellers when moving and producing the electric (sine wave) message. These electrical pulses are then transmitted for flow measurement to the read-out device.

Cameron provides two meter grades to meet various linearity requirements. The standard grade meter for applications requiring a precision of 1% or less is an affordable option. For greater precision, an agricultural grade meter can be used. If the expected flow spectrum is indicated, greater accuracy can be achieved. The flow meter dimensions should be selected based on the instant flow rate of the row at which the meter has been installed and the pressure fall of the meter. Meter quality should never be measured on the nominal piping volume of the installation. See the linear fluid spectrum chart and the pressure drop curve diagram for meter length selection. The meter will remain precisely above its score at flow prices, but by overwriting the meter over long stretches of time unnecessary stress and stress will decrease and the meter’s lifetime will be reduced. NUFLO flow meters can be overridden by 10 percent for short phases without harm.

Both RF and Ring-Type joint designs (RTJ) are accessible to turbine flow meters with flanged bottom links. Flanged NUFLO meters are made from carbon or slip-on steel or single-block stainless steel flanges. To ensure that the flange never comes alive with the fluid method, slip flanges are welded to the outside of the meter. The EZ-IN turbine flow meter sequence is a cost-effective solution for typical flanged meters. The standard NUFLO flow meters are precision, robust design and maintenance-free implementation.
